Freshmen Program Offerings 2018-2019
Parent Chromebook/Technology Trainings
Incoming families, including new and transfer students, must attend Chromebook training in August at Apple Valley High School. Parents/guardians of students continuing at AVHS do not need to attend this training, however, must renew their Chromebook agreement form annually. Both the students and parents/guardians must renew their Chromebook agreements at the beginning of the new school year. Without these forms being up to date your student may lose the right to use their Chromebook.
Parent training meeting dates for the 2018-2019 school year will be available in July.
Once all forms have been signed and returned your student will be issued a Chromebook. On the bottom of the Chromebook there will be a serial number which you will need if you decide to purchase insurance. Chromebook Insurance must be purchased/renewed each year and is good for 12 months from purchase date. If you choose not to purchase insurance, the school district will repair the device and a fee will be added to the student’s account.
Note: The first day of school Wednesday, August 8, 2017 is NOT an early release day and we will be following the M,T,Th,F schedule.
