College Exploration
Whether you are planning on going to college, vocational or technical school, you must start researching about the institution and discovering all you can about it. You must determine if you meet the requirements for the specific school and complete the application with all supporting documents by the deadlines.
Apple Valley High School, in conjunction with Victor Valley College (VVC), uses the Bridge Program to register our graduating seniors at VVC each year. Seniors who complete the Eureka Career Assessments and register for VVC through the Bridge Program are ensured priority registration for the fall semester after graduation. We encourage all seniors to complete this application in the Spring, even if they have been accepted to another college. It is always good to have a solid backup plan! Seniors can also register to other community colleges through the Bridge Program.

Transcript Requests
Official transcripts may be required by the college you plan to attend during the application process. You will need to stop by the Records Office where Mrs. Schultz has blue transcript request forms outside her window. Complete this form and return to Mrs. Schultz at least one (1) day before you need it. This is the same procedure for transcript requests for scholarships. At the end of the year, Mrs. Schultz will have pink transcript request forms for your final official transcripts to be sent to the college you will be attending. Make sure you request transcripts in a timely manner; please don’t leave for the last minute.
To send end-of -the-year Final Transcripts to the college you will be attending, bring Mrs. Schultz a stamped, pre-addressed envelope with the college's address.
