The Sundevil Exchange is a AVHS project that combines community based clothing donations with on-site job training for AVHS students.  The Sundevil Exchange offers free clothing to students and parents and has been made possible in part from a Lowe’s Toolbox for Education grant and donations from the Apple Valley Kmart.

Project TEAM (Transitional Education Achievement Model), a young adult transition program at Apple Valley High School provides TEAM students the opportunity to apply valuable job and life skills training by washing, drying, sorting and hanging the clothes.  Ms. Kim Conolly, special education teacher and Project TEAM advisor, supervises students as they handle the daily job of restocking, displaying, and straightening clothing. Kmart of Apple Valley has generously donated clothing racks and hangers for clothing displays.

Sundevil Exchange customers looking for a warm jacket or just wanting to spruce up their wardrobe, will be assisted by fellow students in finding just what they are looking for.

The Sundevil Exchange is open during school lunch and from 2:00pm-3:00pm on regular school days.
